Year 2010 - development year for Centrum Klima
In 2010 the situation in Polish ventilation and air-conditioning industry was still difficult. Noticeable revival on the construction market contributed to a higher number of contracts, but, unfortunately, majority of the contacts were characterized by low margins. It was due to an extremely high competition on air-conditioning and ventilation market in Poland. This sector is marked by a significant number of small companies, operating literally from a garage. They often fulfil orders below costs to acquire clients. Unfortunately, this results in a very low quality of their products and the underselling trend. The problem is compounded by the attitude of Polish companies which still consider the price of an order to be a priority, while its quality is of secondary importance to them. As a result, Poland is flooded by the products with very poor technical parameters, which are not efficient and prone to breakdown, but cheap. Installations based on such components often encounter problems during technical approval and require frequent and costly maintenance and repair.

Centrum Klima selected as the 2010 Mazovian Innovation Leader
Centrum Klima - the leading Polish producer and distributor of ventilation and air-conditioning systems, which is also an important player on the European markets - was awarded the title of 2010 Innovation in the modern company category, during the III edition of National Innovation and Development Leaders competition. The objective of the project organized by the Innovation and Development Foundation is to identify and promote the undertakings and initiatives featuring innovation and development. The Ministry of Economy, the National Bank of Poland, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Warsaw Stock Exchange, among others, took the patronage over the event.

Launching new office and celebrating the Company's 15-year anniversary
On 19th November this year, the official launching of a new production and office complex of Centrum Klima took place. This was accompanied by the celebration of 15 years of Company's operations on Polish and foreign markets. The programme was focused around visiting the plant in Wieruchów and then Polish and foreign guests were invited to a formal banquet at Hotel Intercontinental in Warsaw.

Another EU Subsidy for Centrum Klima
Centrum Klima - manufacturer and distributor of ventilation and air-conditioning systems, leader of the Polish market and a major European company - was granted a 709,000 PLN EU subsidy from Regionalny Program Operacyjny Województwa Mazowieckiego (Regional Operational Program of Masovian Province) for the years 2007-2013. The received funds shall be used - within the framework of operation 2.3: Communication and Information Technologies for SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZE COMPANIES - to cover half the costs of implementing a modern ERP class computer system. The total value of this project is estimated at 1.43 million PLN.

Centrum Klima - record results in the Company's history in third quarter 2010
Centrum Klima - the leading Polish producer and distributor of ventilation and air-conditioning systems, which is also an important player on the European markets - gained sales profit of PLN 24.2 million in III quarter of 2010, which means 27.4% increase in comparison to the corresponding period of 2009 (PLN 19.0 million). Net profit was PLN 2.3 million, that is 21.1% more than in third quarter of 2009.
